Papers submitted for publication should be between 5,000 and 10,000 words long (unless for a Special Edition, in which case there may be different specific guidelines) . Please email papers to the Chief/ Managing Editor, Dave Hill, at firstname.lastname@example.org and DAVE6@mdx.ac.uk. Papers should be sent as Word email attachments. Each paper will be submitted anonymously to at least two referees. JCEPS publishes both 'established' writers and new writers from all continents.
Papers would be submitted in accordance with the Harvard Referencing Style.
Contributions should be in Times New Roman, font size 12, line and a half line spacing. The text should be left justified, rather than justified to the right and to the left. Contributors should see the formatting of JCEPS9(2) to see examples of presentational style, formatting, line spacing, left justification of text. Authors are free to use either endnotes or footnotes.
Where footnotes are used at the foot of a page, these should be presented in font size 10. Quotations of 40 words or more should be indented and presented in font size 11. With indented quotes of 40 words or more, there is no need to use quotation marks/ speech marks.
Each article should have an abstract. Abstracts should be indented. Each article should have a selection of Key Words, placed after the Abstract. Each article should also have, placed at the end of the article text/ article and endnotes, some Author Details and some Correspondence Details. The Author details can be brief or they could be a paragraph or two.
Papers submitted should relate to and be part of the Marxist/ Radical Left/ socialist tradition (please see the JCEPS homepage at http://www.jceps.com/).
